Dancing Rocks at the TagEm Dance Event!

TagEm UK started their Dance Promo Platform on Saturday 18th July in Hemel Hempstead followed by a trip to Watford's Town Centre on Saturday 25th July.

We had a great time at both venues and saw so much dance talent take to the floor we thought we'd share some of the action with you!

Hemel Hempstead

The TagEm Troupe from North London’s New London Performing Arts Centre opened the event in Hemel's Market Place with a high-energy break dance and street routine. The group, aged from 7 – 15 have performed everywhere from Sadler's Wells to the Emirates. They were followed by local dance school; Boxmoor dance academy and closing each of the 3 rounds was the Blue Angels Majorettes.

Charter Place, Watford

This time the 15 strong TagEm Dance Troupe came from the fantastic ZooNation Youth Dance Company making their debut as the TagEm dance troupe; Zoo'Em. The dancer's aged from 7 to 15 years attend the acclaimed ZooNation Youth Dance Company in London where they are trained by the Company's leading dancers and principals of the West End show 'Into da Hoods'. Zoo'Em opened the event and were followed by local Watford dance school; RT Dance who performed an amazing street dance and Hip Hop piece.

Further performances from Zoo’Em including an acrobatic freestyle set got the crowd cheering for more and saw some local young dance talent from the audience get up and get involved. Also performing on the day were the fantastic street dance soloist Ellie Mayhew and popping and locking brothers Steven and William – well done guys!

Competitions to win TagEm products including T-Shirts and Tags for shoelaces went on throughout both days; congrats to the competitors who raced to see how many Tags could be laced onto a trainer in under 2 minutes (harder than it sounds!)

TagEm would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who was involved in the dance events, from the dancers to the crowds that came to watch – you know who you are!
